Windows does not assign one COM port per USB port. I infer from the text above a basic misunderstanding of how Windows assigns COM ports.

LocoNet is a registered trademark of Digitrax, Inc.The Surface Pro 4 has only one USB port (COM3) which is apparantly shared. JMRI will not recognize the txt extension as a script.
